As a dedicated parent of two teenagers himself, Michael understands firsthand the challenges and concerns that come with raising a family in an increasingly digital world. With over two decades of experience in the tech field, his journey began early, even starting his first business at just 15 years old, building and selling UNIX shells.

For the past 15+ years, Michael served as an IT Manager for a large County Sheriff’s Office. While not a sworn officer, this role provided invaluable exposure to sophisticated systems and critical insights into the dark side of cybercrime and online threats. He has undergone extensive training in digital security, equipping him with a deep understanding of the tactics used by cyber criminals and child predators.

This unique combination of hands-on tech experience, a lifelong passion for understanding how technology works (often by taking it apart and putting it back together!), and a profound awareness of internet dangers, positions Michael as an authentic “Cyber Guide” for parents of all technology levels. His goal is to share this knowledge in an accessible, reassuring way, empowering families to navigate the internet safely and confidently.
